53 Promotional Websites To Gain Quick And Easy Traffic

53 Promotional Websites To Gain Traffic Quick And Easy

title-fresh-promotional-user-links-sitesIt started very long time ago (to be exact December 27, 2008), when I created my first promotional article with 40 promotional links in it. Then I was just starting and I was excited, there exist such things like user news and sites like DesignBump or DesignFloat.

Time passed, and I needed to update my article, add more links, delete old ones because I have been promoting EVERY article in these sites. Now this promotional article consists of 70 sites, but again I wasn’t sure how all links work – I mean how much traffic they return. And now you will hear why this article is so outstanding and extremely valuable for every design-related blogger! Since I’ve been submitting all my article on those sites this whole time, I have also very precise statistics based on several months.

Now I completely reviewed whole article and here TOP 53 sites are arranged in ascending order – from the most valuable websites to less ones. Unique visit count and information is based on my Google Analytics latest 3 months statistics. At the end I added several new and unverified but promising promotional websites.

Needless to say I will update this article regularly, so be sure to bookmark it for later reference! This is really assured list because I’ve tested it and I can tell – these sites really deliver impressive traffic! If you need that traffic – go ahead and take it now! I give you tools, you just need to realize them in the same way I did!

Link Building Beginner's Guide

Link building is an essential ingredient in ranking your website
highly on the major search engines
. There, now that we've got
that brilliant grasp of the obvious out of the way let's move
on to what you can do to actually create them. Before we launch
into the nitty-gritty of link building, no beginners guide would
be complete without a brief explanation as to why links are
important and the different elements of them. Being a beginners
guide this won't be an entirely complete list but it will be
enough to get you going on the right path. Understanding what
you're trying to do will help you do it better and more
importantly, understanding the "why" of the situation will help
you stretch your tactics outside of this and other articles on
link building.

Why Are Links Important?

To put it simply: a link is a vote. Every link pointing to your
site from another website tells the search engines that the
other site finds your resource valuable and thus, the engines
read this as a vote for your site. So it must be about getting
tons of links and you're done right? Wrong. This is incorrect

21 Link Builders Share Advanced Link Building Queries

21 Link Builders Share Advanced Link Building Queries

Advanced link building queries, for the link builders who use them extensively, remain a closely guarded secret. It’s easy to understand why. For one, they want to protect a valued link source from getting flooded with link requests from the general link-seeking public. Secondly, there are some choice opportunities out there that would lose their value if the entire SEO community happened to learn about them.

Another complication with discussing and sharing link building queries is that they’re often tailored towards the linkable and shareable assets of a particular organization. Further, two businesses within the same vertical may have widely different linkable assets, and therefore will need to seek different link targets, which requires different queries.

Despite their link-protecting reticence and the complexity of communication, the 21 link builders I surveyed delivered a highly-valuable array of advanced link building queries. Thank you to all who participated!

Framing the process

In my questions, I asked link builders to respond within this framework:

  1. Linkable Asset. Definition: what’s “linkable” varies from vertical to vertical. Cash is almost always a linkable asset, as are available jobs, events, expertise for interviews and many other forms of great content.
  2. Link Target. Definition: what types of sites, pages, and people seek this linkable asset?
  3. Link Prospecting Query. Definition: what queries uncover great targets for your linkable assets?

This framework couldn’t possibly suit every link builders’ style and expertise. I mention it because you’ll see it in some cases below.

Last notes before digging in – I missed getting queries from some great link builders due to time constraints imposed by my late start (apologies to those I missed!). If you want more sample queries from link builders please say so in the comments (and/or add your own) so I can build the case for a follow-up article. And in closing, I’d like to extend a thank you to the SEO Dojo for their warm welcome and link query suggestions.

Get ready for 2010 Google changes Video - (January 7, 2009)

It's funny.

The other day, I was out reading someone's blog post that

was discussing how I felt about social networking.

This person said that I didn't really LIKE it.

That's not necessarily true.

My big shtick with it is that it can be TIME consuming

and takes away from REAL SKILLS that need to be built.

In other words, inbound links to your sites and that

skill is way more important than taking the time to

master building a network of people (which can take

a good year or more).

The BIGGEST problem is that there weren't the TOOLS

there are now for you that combine your efforts into

one thing.

Well, in 2010, things are changing BIG TIME.

This video explains here what's coming, what you need

to do and how to do it FAST:

http://budurl.com/gchange

My warning to you is:  avoid the above video at your own

peril.

I've flicked the light switch on my social networking and

I suggest you begin to.

I take you through step by step in the above video and

impart the following:

1. How it's NOT all about Twitter at all -- there's a

BIGGER picture

2. How to get ready for the Google changes in 2010

3. How to integrate nearly every single social networking

site into one site and be able to post from Skype, email,

IM, cell phone, even ESP (kidding)!

4. The most important WordPress comment plug-in you'll

use for 2010

5. How to build a presence easily without being a-spammer,

more importantly

6. How to build the content and what type of content to

use, and

7. How to do it all on auto-pilot (if you wish - giggle)

8. How you can easily set this up in about 2 hours -

no kidding!

Well... get crackin!

Search engine optimisation abbreviated as SEO is a function of internet marketing where by you improve your search engine rankings through two selections of techniques commonly known as on page and off page techniques.

However the first thing you have to do before anyone SEO is keyword research. This is the first part of SEO it is critical that you take your time researching your keywords because if you don't it could be detrimental to your whole SEO campaign.

Keyword research

Keyword research is the process of taking time to analyse and compare search engine results with the amount of traffic and competition certain keywords receive. For a brand new site I would recommend that you stay focused on keywords that have 1 million search engine results or less. This can generally take up to a year to achieve a first page ranking for however it is not very accurate of me saying that as it depends entirely on the keyword your trying to rank for.

There are two main types of keyword these being short 1-2 word keywords or long tail keywords.

Short Keywords (1-2 words)

Short keywords either 1 or 2 words are generally much more difficult to rank for and usually receive more traffic and a higher number of competitors.

Long tail keywords (3 words plus)

Long tail keywords are generally easier to rank for as they are more specific to a market and contain less competition however although traffic is generally lower it can sometimes be as high if not higher.

To do keyword research you need to use a keyword tool I would recommend either using Google's own Keyword Research Tool, Wordtracker, Wordze or Keyword Discovery.

If your planning on doing an extended amount of keyword research it may be beneficial to purchase a keyword tool or a membership to the software for 1 month or a year. The best paid keyword tools in my opinion are Wordtracker, Wordze and Keyword Discovery. If your wanting to pay a one off fee instead of monthly fee's I would recommend keyword elite.

Big Tip: For your Keyword research you should plan on getting 4-5 keywords per web page for your website. Stick to researching keywords for your home page first as this is the most important page of your website then look at doing the keyword research for the other pages.

How Affiliate Marketers Can Raise their Google “Trust Factor”

Read the full post by clickingWhat the Internet Marketing community calls the Google ”trust factor” is really part of the mysterious algorithm that Google applies to all websites to determine PageRank. And as everyone knows, Google’s PageRank greatly impacts the order in which sites appear in Search Engine Result Pages (SERPs).

While no one knows for sure, all of the facts point to three sub-factors that Google uses to determine a website’s “trust factor”:

age factor (age of the site)
authority factor (number of authoritative backlinks)
content quality (quality of the content published on the site)

If you can raise your Google trust factor, you can improve your PageRank and thus your potential for making more sales.

Here are some ideas for raising your site’s Google trust factor:
